ONE YEAR in business!

ONE YEAR in business!

Small businesses are an adventure and a risk. Some are riskier than others, but it's true: "No risk, no reward." A year ago, we went to our first Entreprenurial Children's Market to sell our mugs and soap. Our designer, Ani, was 17, so it was our first and last children's market before she "aged out." We had a fantastic time (local markets and festivals are where it's at!!) At that market we made a connection with one of the owners of Longmont Climbing Collective for an event he thought we would be a good match for the following February. It's then that we knew we were onto a product that people like. Many of us are nostalgic for our hometowns and proud of our roots. Since that first market, we are now retail in 8 locations along the front range. I have only "cold called" one of them. The others have seen us at one of our markets or noticed us at another retail location. People have been super supportive and especially interested since the artist is our high-school aged daughter. She has gained confidence in her work and learned what it takes to be a small business owner. We are looking forward to seeing how her mugs help pay her way through college. Thanks to everyone who has been with us on our journey so far!
